About Us

Chabad House Cusco was founded in 2016 by Rabbi Ofer Kripor and Mrs. Rebbetzin Yael Kripor with the mission of serving the Jewish community and Jewish travelers in Cusco, Peru.

Our Mission

Chabad House Cusco is a Jewish community center affiliated with the Chabad-Lubavitch Hasidic movement. Our goal is to provide a warm, welcoming, and meaningful Jewish environment for locals, visitors, and travelers from around the world.

What Is a Chabad House?

A Chabad House is a Jewish community center established by Shluchim (emissaries) sent by the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Today, Chabad Houses can be found in nearly every major city around the world.

These centers offer a wide range of religious, educational, and social services, supporting Jewish life wherever Jews may be—no matter how far from home.

Our Services

At Chabad House Cusco, we proudly offer:

  • A welcoming Traveler Center
  • Friday Night Dinners
  • Shabbat Meals
  • Shabbat Prayers
  • Assistance with kosher food and Jewish needs
  • A supportive and inclusive Jewish community

Whether you are visiting Cusco for a short stay or living here long-term, our doors are always open.

How We Are Supported

Chabad House Cusco is not funded by the global Chabad movement. Our activities are made possible entirely through the generosity of individuals and organizations.

It is thanks to people like you that we are able to establish, maintain, and expand Jewish life here in Cusco.

If you would like to support our mission, we warmly welcome your contribution to Chabad House Cusco, Peru.

We look forward to welcoming you.
